So tonight is our last night in Washington, D.C. It has been amazing! I can’t wait to come back and explore more. 4 days just wasn’t long enough, especially since we lost more then half a day being snowed in and all the federal monuments/museums were closed today. Seriously, go here, at least once! The majority of the museums and monuments are free which is awesome! It’s amazing to see and witness our founding fathers and our government. These men who founded our nation were brilliant and being able to view actual documents and see the burial sites of our former presidents and just so much more was so rich in education I can’t begin to explain the importance of it all. I’m sad we couldn’t sit in on the Supreme Court case like we were suppose to today, but at least we get a tour of the Capitol tomorrow before we head to the airport! My history teacher heart is going home very happy!
