Let me just start off, I NEVER eat deer meat. My whole life I’ve had something against it. Thanks to Disney and their movie Bambi. However, this was the first time I have ever eaten venison, it was so good!! It didn’t even taste gamey, at all. Even before I added the BBQ sauce it tasted like roast beef!
Shredded Crock Pot Venison
4 pounds of deer roast
1 onion chopped
3 tablespoons of worsterchire sauce
Tony’s
Garlic and pepper powder
1 can of diet coke
1 bottle of BBQ sauce (I used jack Daniels honey smokehouse sauce)

Place meat in the crock pot. I didn’t do measurements of the Tony’s or garlic/pepper powder. Your going to want to do two good coats of both on each side of the deer roast to cut out that game flavor (Sean would be mad if he knew this haha!) Add onions and diet coke. Cook on low for 16 hours, yes, I said 16! After its fully cooked, shred with fork, mix in BBQ sauce.
Toast buns at 450 for 4 minutes.
Corn:
4 fresh ears
2 spoonfuls of sugar
Take stalk off corn. Boil water with sugar. Add corn when water is rapidly boiling. Cook for about 5 minutes.
