I’m not a fan of chicken parmesan at all, but I had all the ingredients to come up with a recipe for it. And it tasted so good!!! I will be making this again!
1 1/2 pounds of boneless chicken tenderloins
2 cups of Italian bread crumbs
2 cups of Parmesan cheese
Mozzarella cheese (use this later)
Preheat oven to 350
Mix seasoning into breadcrumbs and put in one bowl. Put parmesean cheese in seperate bowl. Make egg wash. Dip chicken into egg wash, add to Parmesan cheese. Redip in the egg wash, dip into bread crumbs. Repeat this process.
Bake for 40 minutes
2 26 ounce cans of tomato sauce
1/2 cup of sugar
Mix into sauce pan and simmer for the 40 minutes the chicken is cooking for.
When the 40 minutes has passed, pour the red sauce over chicken breasts. Add cheese to each one. Bake for an additional 10 mins.
