This is just like my ziti recipe but with meat! I LOVEEEEE this stuff!!!
Baked Ziti with Ground Beef
1 pound of ground meat
1 pound of penne pasta
3/4 of a Ragu jar (I get the Ragu that has seasonings in it not the traditional one)
8 cups of Mozzarella cheese
1/2 cup of parmesan cheese
Italian seasonings (basil, oregano, thyme, garlic powder)
Preheat oven to 350.
In a skillet, brown the meat.
While meat is browning, Cook and Drain noodles.
In a large pot, add noodles and meat, stir well.
Add ragu sauce. Add italian seasonings. I mean, we always just eyeball it, use your best judgement. We use probably 1 tablespoon of each, at the least. Melt about half of the mozzarella cheese. Add all of the parmesan cheese.
In an oven safe dish, spray with pam, pour in noodle mixture.
Top with the rest of the cheese.
Bake for 25 minutes.
