I posted this recipe before, but it’s been about 10 months! So here it is again! This crab dip is fabulous! I can’t tell you enough on how great it is! I made it tonight for my dads wedding that’s tomorrow!
Cream Cheese Jalapeno-Crab Dip
8 tablespoons of butter
4 cloves of garlic minced
1/4 cup of flour
1/ 14 cup of milk
1 8 ounce container of fresh crab meat
1 1/4 cup of shredded white cheddar ( we actually got the 3 mixture blend from Kraft)
3 tablespoons of lemon juice
2 scallions sliced thinly
2 jalapeno chiles seeds removed finely chopped
1 8oz cream cheese package
1 1/2 tablespoons of Worcestershire
heat oven to 400 degrees.
In a medium saucepan, melt butter over medium heat and add garlic. cook, stirring until tender. stir in flour and slowly whisk in milk.
Remove from heat and slowly add the crab meat, cheese, and the lemon juice. Then add in a mixture of cream cheese worcestershire sauce.
Return to a medium heat and stir until blended together. Add scallions and jalapenos.
Transfer to a 1 quart baking dish and bake for 20-30 minutes.
Serve with the fresh melba toast from the bakery inside of your grocery.
